Slow Summer - Big Plans

Dear all,

Our summer started a lot slower than planned. We had to cancel three shows, first because of quarantine, then because I was tested positive and became ill. I'm very grateful I recovered quickly and that at least one show could be moved to the end of August. These are the coming dates that you can book tickets for now:

August 27: FLUOR, AMERSFOORT

August 28: PREUVEMENT, ASSEN

August 29: ROODEHAAN, WESTEREMDEN

March 18:  TIVOLI VREDENBURG, UTRECHT

NEW PLAYLIST

When I started making this Spotify Playlist a few weeks ago I had a different kind of slow in mind. Not the self-isolating-with-virus-and-cancelling-shows kind of slow, but the dark and dreamy one, the one that bends and turns. The kind of slow that strangers use when they tell meandering tales of silent boatmen and dark waters, of getting lost on foreign islands. If you enjoy that kind of slow, I think you'll enjoy this playlist. It's one hour of VanWyck songs to get lost in.

Love, Christine

PS Here's the whole painting. I like to think that the object in the foreground is a mud sledge. (I once participated in a mud-sledge-race in the south of France, but that's a long story that I will save for the next album...)
